Four professionals, seven licenses, and every number in plain sight so you can check them.

In regenerative medicine the credential is the thing most often claimed and least often checked. Here it is published with number, institution and year, and with a link to the public registry where you can verify it without asking anyone permission.

There are two levels of proof on this page and they are worth keeping apart. A professional license is a number in the Mexican registry and you check it by typing it in. The medical director international training does not live in that registry: it gets its own list, with year, institution and a link to the professional profile where he publishes it himself. They are separated because a foreign certification presented as if it were a Mexican license is exactly the claim that collapses when somebody checks it.

He directs BMC Clinic and runs the integrative, functional and anti-aging practice. He is a licensed physician and surgeon from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, with a professional license issued in 1990, and more than 35 years of clinical practice behind him.

Between 1999 and 2007 he worked at Sanoviv Medical Institute in Rosarito, Baja California: the first years as an attending physician and the last four as Medical Director. During that period he coordinated the process that made Sanoviv the first hospital in the world certified by the Institute for Functional Medicine, in 2006. That is where he trained in functional medicine, and it is where the way he works at BMC comes from: look for the root cause instead of chasing the symptom.

He has been an active member of A4M, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, since 2001, and of IFM, the Institute for Functional Medicine, since 2002.

He is the one who defines the plan when a case involves several therapies at once, and the one who decides when a patient is not a candidate for any of them.

She is the only member of the team with a medical specialty registered in the Mexican national registry, in Traumatology and Orthopedics. She handles the cases where regenerative medicine is applied to a joint and someone has to decide whether the problem is actually regenerable or whether surgery is what is called for.

She runs her own orthopedic practice in Tijuana, independent of the clinic.
