Advanced diagnostics and patient mapping

The studies used to find the cause before any therapy is proposed. Includes genetic panels and food allergy panels.

Duration
Days to two weeks, depending on the study
Format
Sample collection and imaging in Tijuana, results reviewed in consultation

What it is

This is the step where the guessing stops. A plan built on a routine blood panel is a plan built on assumptions, so diagnostics here go further: genetic panels, a food allergy and intolerance panel, cancer markers for screening, ultrasound, imaging studies including MRI, and advanced laboratory work covering hormonal, inflammatory and metabolic profiles.

Not everyone gets all of them. Which ones are ordered comes out of your evaluation and out of what actually needs to be found in your case. At the end, all of it meets your clinical history in a comprehensive mapping, and that is what becomes the written plan.

What the session is like

  • A prior evaluation, where it is decided which studies are needed and why.
  • Sample collection and imaging, scheduled into as few visits as possible.
  • Waiting for results. The genetic panels are the slowest.
  • A results consultation, where you are told what was found and what changes in your plan.

Who it is considered for

Anyone about to start a treatment plan, and anyone who wants a full health map without having decided yet whether to treat anything.

When it is not used

When this therapy is not used.

Read this before you travel. If anything on this list applies to you, say so on the intake form and another route will be proposed.

  • Pregnancy, for imaging studies involving radiation. Ultrasound is used instead.
  • Severe claustrophobia or incompatible metal implants, for MRI.
  • None of these studies replaces care for a medical emergency.
Before you come. Bring your lab work from the last six months. A recent study you already have is a study nobody has to repeat or charge you for twice. One important clarification: cancer markers here are screening within the health map. BMC Clinic does not treat cancer, and an abnormal marker is referred to an oncologist.

Does your case fit this therapy?

The intake form asks exactly what rules each therapy in or out. It takes ten minutes and ends with a printable summary.
