Your trip to Tijuana
How to get here, what documents you need and how many days it will take. Written for someone crossing from San Diego, Los Angeles or Las Vegas for the first time.
The five ways to get here
Fly into San Diego, then cross by land
San Diego International is the closest airport on the US side. From there you cross into Tijuana at San Ysidro or Otay Mesa, by car or by ground transport.
Fly into Tijuana through the CBX bridge
Cross Border Xpress is a pedestrian bridge connecting a terminal in San Diego directly to the Tijuana airport. You buy a crossing ticket and walk across with your luggage. It is the simplest route if you fly with bags.
Drive your own car
Through San Ysidro, the busiest crossing, or through Otay Mesa, which is usually less congested. Wait times vary a great deal by day and hour.
From Los Angeles or Las Vegas
Fly into San Diego and cross by land, or fly into Tijuana through the CBX bridge. From Los Angeles you can also drive: about three hours to the border, not counting the wait at the crossing.
You are already in Tijuana or Baja California
The clinic is in Col. Madero Sur, on Av. Gral. Ferreira. Suite 3170-D.

Documents
- Valid passport. You need it to return to the United States or Canada, no exceptions. Check the expiry date before you travel.
- Visitor permit. For short tourism or medical stays the visitor procedure done at the crossing is usually enough. Confirm the current requirement with the immigration authority before your trip.
- Your medical records. Lab work from the last six months, imaging studies and your medication list. Printed or on your phone, either works.
- Printed intake form. The summary this site generates. You arrive with your history already organized and the consultation goes further.
How many days you need
The number of days comes from the therapy, not from the calendar. That is why the evaluation is worth resolving before you buy tickets.
- Evaluation only. One day. And if you prefer, the evaluation happens by video call without travelling at all.
- A single therapy. One to three days, depending on the therapy and whether it needs lab work first.
- Hyperbaric or IV series. These are scheduled across several sessions, so your stay depends on how many are indicated.
- Protocol 360. Five to fifteen days. You get the day-by-day calendar before you buy tickets.
- A full plan. Two to three weeks, which is how long a typical treatment plan runs. It can be split across two trips if your calendar does not allow one continuous stay.
- If you live in Baja California. Follow-up is scheduled weekly or every two weeks, with no stay involved.
