What it is
Regenerative medicine covers several different products: stem cells, exosomes, secretomes, placental extracts, MUSE cells and peptides. They are not the same thing and they are not used for the same thing, and part of the evaluation is deciding which one applies, if any of them applies at all.
This is the area where the internet promises the most. Here you will be told what evidence exists for your specific case, what is known and what is still not known. If what you are expecting is a cure, you will be told plainly that nobody serious can offer you that.
What the session is like
- The product, the dose and the route are confirmed before anything is prepared.
- Administration in the office, intravenous or directed to a joint, according to the plan.
- Observation at the clinic before you are discharged.
- A follow-up appointment to review how you responded.
Who it is considered for
People under evaluation for joint wear, chronic inflammatory processes or age-related decline, when the physician determines it is reasonable.
